Courtyard

I found this amazing quilt pattern while browsing through old magazines I bought at a quilt show. I decided to go with bold colors against a variety of tone-on-tone black fabric . I just had to make it! It was my first time working with Dresden plates, and I loved the process of hand-sewing them onto the quilt. The quilting adds a nice texture, making it really special. It’s always so exciting to see a project come to life!
